The quality I'm referring to is the general feel, a bit hard to describe. And the right unit pops open sometimes during a ride. Very annoying, and I haven't found the culprit yet.

Hi, I have these bags in leather coated and really like them, most of the bags I see on other bikes and including pictures posted on this forum have a big shell on the outside but not much room inside. these Coner bags really hold a lot and because there is a peak in the lid, you can really stuff a lot in them. Also, they curve toward the turn signals in the back so they look like their closer to the bike which I like.
I've had them on my bike for about a year and wouldn't trade them for any that I have seen so far. I mounted them with the easy brackets from Fast Eddy. The locks are first rate and they are fiberglass and lined with a soft material. I left them open for about a week after I got them and the fiberglass smell went away.

do you have a picture of the rear and how it angles toward the turn signal? I was leaning towards the gloss black strong bags but seeing your bags, I kind of like the look of the bag guards on the coner bag.

What I meant was the trip of the bags is always at a risk. Drilling extra safeties are always a hassle. That is why is said that you need to try this bag by biking bags(Link ). They are pretty impressive.

We all have budgets and some of you have wives that can make the decision process painful. I am not a long hauler like the Aussie dudes that ride around the continent sometimes they aren't even on black top. Dust for breakfast, lunch, dinner, what a hardy bunch of men. Sleep in a tent, but it's kool shitin in the woods. Ferrel gangs of Roo's looking to kick your ass off the bike, I think they are with HA. But the party's at night must keep the mates sane. So these fellas need bags and plenty of storage space. I can ride with a tail bag if I want tools. No bag around home, how much can I really fix in the deadly road shoulder?. Also I don't have a windscreen to speak of, higher speeds wear you out quick. I sometimes lay forward on the tank just behind the fly screen for noise and back relief. It's quite comfy. You can really hear the motor spinning the mill.

They don't look as sleek as the other bags on here, but they hold a lot of stuff and should be great for touring.

You can't adjust the spring preload with the bags on but the damping can be adjusted. The easy brackets make it quite simple though to just remove the bags and adjust. I can't recall with the stock shocks, I haven't had them on for probably eight or so years.

1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight,plenty of chrome,switchblade pegs, Hagon Nitro shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.

hmmm, for those that have hard bags, do you remove the hard bags and adjust for passenger weight and then reapply the hardbags?

I know that Tsukayu sold an easy bracket but not for the coner hardbags that I had ordered. It probably seems less obvious to me sicne I haven't received the hardbags yet so I wasn't sure how permanently fixed they were after installation or if they were a pita to remove with their standard mounting hardware. I know fasteddy sells some easy brackets, do those work with all saddlebags?

(Re: Davisnub) | | | Easy brackets are a brand name, fast Eddy will have them on his website and is good at answering any questions that you might have. They will fit most bags and I am pretty sure they come with extra bobbins and bolts so that you can still use the genuine removable backrest. They are very quick to get on and off the bike, key operated.
